Bredwardine & Brobury Crafta Webb Group Evening

Crafta Webb, the 'Lost Hamlet' local community movie, has become a big part of our lives in Bredwardine and Brobury. The premiere of the Crafta Webb film was well attended in November. The project really brought the villagers together. As a result, some of us are in the process of organising a Crafta Webb Project Party to be held in the Village Hall on Saturday, January 26th. Bredwardine & Brobury Wassail and Quiz Night

Just a reminder that the Village Hall Committee is planning a Wassail and Quiz Evening on Friday, January 11th, 2008. Plan to meet in the Orchard opposite the Red Lion at 6.30pm. Then plan to participate in the Quiz Night immediately following the Wassail festivities in the Bredwardine Village Hall around 7.00pm. Bring your own drinks to the Quiz. Light refreshments will be available. A maximum of 5 members per quiz team, with an entrance fee of £5 per team. Last year some of the questions were real brain teasers. Bredwardine & Brobury Christmas Fair Profits

Thank you to everyone who contributed to and helped at the Christmas Fair. There were so many really good items to buy, which enabled us to raise at £750. The Christmas Tree Sales generated another £415, putting our total taking for the event at £1,165. Several very-satifised customers told me that not one needle fell from their trees despite being exposed to the central heating. What a testimonial!  more...
