Nowadays it is so easy to fit a small camera into a pocket, yet I still find myself wishing that I was carrying mine at certain times. Such was the case when, driving down our lane, I noticed a buzzard perched atop a telegraph pole with a blackbird either side, each at a distance of about two metres. I stopped the car and found them so involved in their confrontation that they remained undisturbed by my presence.  more...
