ST John's Church, Pencombe, has been given more than £1250 towards its church repair fund.The money was raised at a charity supper held at Hegdon Hill, which was attended by nearly 90 people.Organisers also put on a raffle to raise money.   more...

Missing dog

ANOTHER dog has been reported missing from its home in Bromyard.The black Labrador bitch called Caspar went missing from Llandynod Farm at the end of August and has not been seen since. Owner Diane Morgan said she thinks the dog wandered off but added: "We want her home desperately." If anyone finds Caspar they should call Bromyard police station on 08457 444888, quoting lost property number EJ125/06.   more...
