Garden fete

LITTLE Cowarne Garden Fete is being held at Orchard Rise tomorrow (Saturday), at 2pm. There will be the usual stalls selling produce, cakes, books and toys, as well as games and competitions for children including pinball and a scavenger hunt. There will also be a competition to see who can bring the biggest dock leaf to the fete. Teas will be served throughout the afternoon.   more...

Outdoor painting workshops

BROMYARD residents can explore their creative sides with two outdoor painting workshops this month. The first will be held on Sunday, September 10, at Apple Store Gallery, Brockhampton, followed by a session on September 13 Warren Farm, Bringsty. Both run from 10am-4pm and are suitable for artists of all abitlities. Each workshop is £35, including lunch. People need their own art materials.
