A TRADITIONAL post office in a medieval north Herefordshire village wants a new first class owner.
Ye Olde Steppes Village Shop and Post Office in Pembridge has gone on the market for £395,000.
Owners Stan and Anna Latisinski have run the business for the past two years but are now selling it because of ill health.
The detached Tudor property (left) dates back to about 1540 and is believed to have been the rectory.
Russell Brooks, from the Bristol office of Christie & Co, said: "This is a traditional village post office and shop selling a range of items. The business is unopposed and enjoys a good custom as well as tourist and passing trade. It provides a vital service to the adjoining villages.
"This is ideally suited to someone seeking a lifestyle business in a unique upmarket location."
It also benefited from a fascinating period property.
