A ROSS-ON-WYE man admitted damaging a door at Express Dairies after he was identified by a DNA sample, Hereford magistrates court heard on Friday.
Alan Emile Sosna was charged with burglary with intent to steal after he broke the door valued at £50 on August 11.
Stephen Davies, prosecuting, said a dairy worker spotted two men running down the lane and over a fence before he discovered the damaged door.
Representing Sosna, of Old Market Close, Rebecca Edmonds said he had been drinking:"Mr Sosna has an alcohol problem which is why he maintains this happened."
Sosna was ordered to pay £50 compensation and £65 costs.
