A show that may change your life

From the archive, first published Thursday 2nd Oct 2003.

Following a hectic 2002, when they performed two highly successful shows at The Courtyard, bottleneck theatre company is looking forward to making its much-awaited return.

The company is back at the end of this month with I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

The show tells of the ups and downs of modern-day male-female relationships - from blind dates to marriage to children and growing old.

The cast of 11 is looking forward to the challenge of playing over 60 characters during the show, which is currently the longest running of its kind off-Broadway.

In America it has also become the most proposal-friendly show in town, with more than 40 men taking to the stage to propose to their partners!

Director Ian Strangward is delighted to be able to bring the show to Hereford.

"The stories are ones that we can all relate to, and if we get a proposal during the week, all the better!" he says.

The show runs from October 29 to November 1 in the Studio Theatre.
