Be inspired by the goddess Athena no less when professional weaver and teacher Theresa Sundt holds a one-day workshop celebrating the craft of weaving with a wonderful variety of colours and textiles.
Participants will learn how to use a simplified loom and complete a small tapestry by the end of the day, organised for November 8.
This is followed by a mosaic Roman art workshop on November 9, taught by Aimee Saic. Create and complete an ancient fragment of a Roman floor with professional materials, learn cutting techniques, design and grouting and take home a memory of a truly inspiring day.
The workshops cost £55 per day, including a wholesome lunch, and are being held in Michaelchurch. A discount is offered when booking both days. For further information call Jane on 01981 510381.
