SOME of the greatest pianists of the early 20th Century will come alive again in Whitbourne on October 11.
Paderewski, Hoffman, Lhevinne, Rosenthal and Busoni will all have their music digitally recreated from piano rolls made before the age of electrical recording and played `live' on a modern Yamaha Disklavier grand piano.
The event, which is in aid of St Michael's Hospice, will take place at Lakeside, Gaines Road, Whitbourne and will include a light lunch with wine prior to the recital.
