A NOTORIOUS accident blackspot at Woofferton will be the subject of a public meeting at Richards Castle Village Hall on Wednesday, January 24.
The meeting, which is to be chaired by Shropshire county councillor Adrian Coles, hopes to find some solution to the problems at the junction of the A49 and A456 near the Salwey Arms.
Several requests for action to be taken have been made by local residents, after years of serious and fatal accidents at the junction.
The meeting starts at 7pm and will include a presentation by the Highways Agency, plus a chance for the public to put forward their views.
